1.Public Notice and Access

EDYOU provides a public notice-and-removal process for qualifying nonconsensual intimate images or videos. A person does not need an EDYOU account, a .edu email address, or an app login to read this Policy or submit a removal request.

2.Prohibited Intimate Imagery

EDYOU prohibits the sharing, publication, or distribution of intimate images or videos of an identifiable person without that person’s consent. This prohibition includes qualifying digitally altered, manipulated, or artificially generated material, including deepfakes or other digital forgeries, whether or not the depicted conduct actually occurred.

This conduct also violates the EDYOU Terms of Use and Community Guidelines and may result in content removal, account restriction, suspension, or permanent termination.

3.Who May Submit a Removal Request

A removal request may be submitted by the identifiable person depicted in the intimate image or video, or by a person authorized to act on that person’s behalf. EDYOU may request information reasonably necessary to confirm the requester’s authority to act for the depicted person.

4.How to Submit a Removal Request

Submit a removal request by emailing social@edyouapp.com with the subject line: URGENT TIDA REMOVAL REQUEST.

This email process is publicly available and does not require an EDYOU account or login. EDYOU may also make a public no-login web form available for the same purpose.

5.Information to Include

A written removal request should include:

EDYOU may request additional information reasonably necessary to validate the request or locate the material.

6.EDYOU Response to a Valid Request

After receiving a valid removal request covered by applicable law, EDYOU will act as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt to remove the qualifying intimate visual depiction from EDYOU and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies on the Service.

EDYOU may provide a confirmation or case identifier and may communicate with the requester regarding status, additional information needed, or completion.

7.Deletion, Evidence Preservation, and Legal Holds

EDYOU’s default policy is deletion, not archival. Qualifying content removed under this Policy is removed from active user-facing systems, and known identical copies are removed as required by applicable law.

EDYOU may preserve a restricted copy of content or limited related records only when reasonably necessary for a specific legal obligation, safety matter, fraud-prevention purpose, enforcement action, law-enforcement preservation request, dispute, or active legal hold. Any such preservation is limited to the information reasonably necessary for that purpose, is subject to restricted access, and continues only for as long as the applicable need or legal hold remains in effect.

8.Enforcement

EDYOU may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts responsible for prohibited nonconsensual intimate imagery and may refer appropriate matters to law enforcement or other authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required.

9.Relationship to In-App Reporting

A logged-in EDYOU user may also use the app’s reporting tools to report prohibited content or an account. The public removal process described in this Policy remains available to non-users and to anyone who cannot log in.

10.Privacy of Removal Requests

Information submitted with a removal request is used to evaluate, process, document, and respond to the request; protect users and the Service; comply with applicable law; and preserve evidence when specifically required. Access to removal-request information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers as reasonably necessary. Retention is governed by EDYOU’s Privacy Policy and any applicable legal hold.

11.Emergencies

EDYOU is not an emergency-response service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency authority. This removal process addresses content hosted on EDYOU and is not a substitute for emergency or law-enforcement assistance.
