1.Who EDYOU Is For

EDYOU is for eligible college students who are at least 18 years old. When you create an account, you must be able to form a binding contract, be actively enrolled at an approved United States college, university, community college, or other approved postsecondary institution, and be lawfully entitled to use the college-issued .edu email address used for verification.

EDYOU does not collect or store your exact date of birth in Phase 1. During registration, you must affirmatively confirm that you are at least 18 years old and currently enrolled at an eligible institution. EDYOU uses Apple’s privacy-preserving Declared Age Range capability to request an age range rather than an exact birthdate. If the age information available to EDYOU indicates that you are under 18, you may not create or maintain an EDYOU account.

EDYOU does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create or maintain an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or delete the account, subject to lawful safety, evidence-preservation, and record-retention requirements.

A user who later graduates may be permitted to retain an account and may be identified as an alumnus, graduate, or former student. EDYOU may investigate suspected fraud, impersonation, unauthorized use of a college email address, or misrepresentation of age, identity, school, or enrollment.

2.Core Expectations

3.Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use EDYOU to post, share, promote, solicit, facilitate, or engage in:

EDYOU does not permit anonymous-account abuse, random-stranger or Chatroulette-style interactions, pornography or NSFW sections, attractiveness voting, or appearance-based rankings.

4.Account Integrity

5.Content Ownership, Rights, and Music

You retain ownership of your original User Content, subject to the rights you grant EDYOU under the Terms of Use. You are responsible for ensuring that you own or have the rights, permissions, licenses, releases, and consents needed to post your content.

Respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights. Obtain appropriate permission from recognizable people shown or heard in your content where required.

You may include music, sound recordings, voice, or other audio only when you created it or are legally authorized to use it on EDYOU. Access to music through a consumer streaming subscription or another platform does not by itself authorize use on EDYOU.

Do not knowingly submit materially false or misleading information or another person’s confidential, educational, medical, financial, or identifying records without lawful authority.

6.Reporting

If you see content or conduct that violates these Guidelines, use EDYOU’s in-app reporting tools. Users can report supported posts, UClips/videos, comments, and user profiles and select a reason for the report.

If you cannot access the in-app tools or need to report a safety concern, contact social@edyouapp.com. Reports should be made in good faith. Knowingly false, fabricated, retaliatory, or abusive reports may themselves violate these Guidelines.

7.Blocking

EDYOU allows users to block other users through available blocking controls. Blocking is designed to prevent blocked users from viewing profiles or content and from following or interacting through supported social features. Users may manage and unblock accounts through the available blocked-user controls.

8.How EDYOU Moderates and Enforces

EDYOU uses automated content-safety controls together with human review to identify and respond to content or conduct that violates these Guidelines or the Terms of Use. Content may be screened before it becomes visible to other users, and flagged or uncertain content may be held for administrative review.

Depending on the circumstances, EDYOU may:

Threats, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, self-harm concerns, suspected underage accounts, and imminent safety risks may receive priority escalation. EDYOU aims to respond to user reports promptly and will comply with legally required response periods where applicable.

9.Appeals

If you believe EDYOU restricted your content or account in error, you may request review by emailing social@edyouapp.com and explaining the issue. EDYOU may uphold, reverse, or modify its decision. An appeal does not automatically restore content or account access while review is pending.

10.Safety, Nonconsensual Intimate Imagery, and Emergencies

EDYOU prohibits nonconsensual intimate imagery, including qualifying digitally altered or AI-generated intimate material. A depicted person or authorized representative may use EDYOU’s public no-login removal process or email social@edyouapp.com with the subject line “URGENT TIDA REMOVAL REQUEST.” The public process is available even to someone who does not have an EDYOU account.

For qualifying requests covered by applicable law, EDYOU will remove qualifying content and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies within the legally required period. EDYOU may preserve only specific records reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, enforcement, or evidence-preservation purposes.

EDYOU is not an emergency-response service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency authority.

11.Copyright and Intellectual Property

Do not post content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. EDYOU may remove allegedly infringing content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate repeat infringers.

Copyright owners should use EDYOU’s Copyright/DMCA Policy and designated-agent process. EDYOU’s designated Copyright Agent is Jonathan Bick, Brach Eichler LLC, 101 Eisenhower Parkway, Roseland, New Jersey 07068; telephone 973-228-5700; email copyrightagent@bracheichler.com.

12.Content Expiration and Deletion

EDYOU follows a data-minimization approach for ordinary User Content. Content selected to expire after 24 hours or 7 days is removed from active systems when that period ends. Content you manually delete is removed from active systems, and content designated as permanent remains until you delete it or your account is deleted.

Limited copies may remain temporarily in short-term backups or may be preserved when specifically required for security, moderation, a legal obligation, a valid legal hold, or another lawful purpose, as described in the EDYOU Privacy Policy.

13.Relationship to the Terms and Privacy Policy

These Community Guidelines are incorporated into the EDYOU Terms of Use. If there is a direct conflict between these Guidelines and the Terms, the Terms control unless another policy expressly states otherwise. EDYOU’s collection, retention, and deletion of personal information are governed by the EDYOU Privacy Policy.
